Just Blaze shows you how he likes to chop up samples using Logic Pro and importing it into the ESX Sampler.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are running Logic Studio Pro 9, this is not a default key command. To modify the key command follow these steps:
1. Go to PREFERENCES > KEY COMMANDS.
2. Type "split" in the search area.
3. Select "Split Regions/Events by playhead position".
4. Select "Learn by Key Label".
5. Hit the" / "key.
6. De-select "Learn by key label" and close the key command menu.
After these simple steps, you should be good to start chopping!
