PLEASE NOTE: If you are running Logic Studio Pro 9, this is not a default key command. To modify the key command follow these steps:

1. Go to PREFERENCES > KEY COMMANDS.

2. Type "split" in the search area.

3. Select "Split Regions/Events by playhead position".

4. Select "Learn by Key Label".

5. Hit the" / "key.

6. De-select "Learn by key label" and close the key command menu.

After these simple steps, you should be good to start chopping!
